LIFE FOR OTHERS

An eight year practitioner of medicine talked about her experiences at the AUFMC, and gave us a brief view on how it is to live and give life to others. The speaker was a med tech by profession. And she practically and literally work on other people’s feces, urine, blood and all other stuffs that ordinary people would dare not touch. She said that her job is not that easy considering that it could put her in the risks of acquiring certain diseases upon making a single mistake like being torn by a needle while on the job.
She also told us how hard it is to not experience holidays like Xmas, and go on duty instead. Well it sure is not hard to be in her shoes especially that she is a mother, but still she chose to stay, come to think of it she even lasted for years.
