STILL, WE RISE!

“Congratulations, you did a great job, that was the best vj hunt ever produced at auf, im so proud of you” a warm text from Maam Virgie just right after the program.
Wow, to hear such complement really pays off. I mean nothing’s more rewarding than to hear appreciation from the people you offered your work with.
The freshly held VJ hunt was taken cared by the abmc3, the witty and talented batch in which I proudly belong. We all took part and made it possible to happen. The preparation was really time and energy consuming, but surely made a great memory to all of us.
I remember going to high schools in San. Fernando all the way from Angeles to present an invitation to the administration only to get answers like” sorry the chairperson is not around, you could go back tomorrow for your concerns” or “we’ll see if their schedule could provide for it”, and then we will end up saying “yes Maam, we understand your concerns as well.” And then we’ll have to go back to Auf to proceed with our class.
But there was this one time that we went back to the schools to convince them for the last time, it took us so much time that we realized we’ll be very late for our class however we try it, so we decided to just spend the day over to the swimming pool,.haha. Yes, you have read it right, swimming pool. After a day of talking and running school after school under the heat of the burning sun, whatever you may call it, we all agreed to take time to relax, since there’s nothing left for us to do. We spent the day over at Maryan’s place, because we thought that to unwind rather than to stress ourselves more, is the solution. Thank God it worked, we had fun and left for a while our worries.
Also during the making of the vj hunt, there are uncontrolled temper which sometimes, some of my classmates fail to understand which ends up with an argument, good thing we are left calm that we are able to prevent them in going deeper.
Well there are really so much stories to tell, but I will no longer state them I will just leave you this instead,VJ hunt truly made its mark in my life. It brought me so many lessons. I’ve learned what I was supposed to learn academically, I have experienced tough times and triumph as well.
Also VJ hunt will serve as a proof to all those mockers who have so much guts to underestimate us, when the truth is they know we the ABMC3 can do better. Well we are even the best actually.

This from Archie Sangalang

This is all about your blog on vj hunt 2007, I agree with you truly vj hunt 2007 was a success. I worked on the backstage crew and it is hard work on the backstage because you are responsible on keeping the show steady. While the scene is a mess in the back the audience must know nothing of this because what is to be watched is just the front stage not the back.
And when the time the show is over you will just sag yourself on the chair lazily congratulating yourself for a job well done. The text that says it was success came from mam virgie that is why we ought to express our gratitude.

Everything that was written by Spring were actually and definitely right. Being part of this year’s VJ Hunt Productions, I must say that this is the year when VJ Hunt in AUF became a really successful and indeed, wonderful one. I must say that we also deserve what our very own Program Coordinator said, that this is the best VJ Hunt ever. I think this year’s event turned very nice because the group, the ABMC 3 showed sense of unity, spirit of volunteerism and acceptance for every idea that one has to share. To all the ABMC 3, let us all keep the burning passion that we have started last VJ Hunt. Definitely, we will still again experience productions like this and for those to become successful, we still need one another. To Spring, a wonderful article for this one. To all you guys, good luck once again to all our incoming endeavors and challenges.

It’s really fun to reminisce all our experiences right? I think we deserve maam virgy’s comment that it was the best vj hunt ever produced… At least we prove to everybody that ABMC3 are not only “lagu lagu” or “pa-easy-easy”(as what they call us) we prove them wrong! We are great and flexible. Our batch is gifted with so many potentials; Good looking (whew!?), smart, talented and many to mention.. Although sometimes other students misinterpret our personalities, I don’t know why… maybe because of their impression that we are very talkative and frank when we speak in public.
I agree also to you that in every production our class experience some miscommunications that lead to misunderstandings but I think that’s good also because we come to know each other well. What’s important is that in the end we still value the bonding and unity that we built in the previous years..
